Concept Overview

No daemon, install-anywhere

Runs inline as short-lived `node` invocations. No background process, no service registration, fully removable by deleting files.

Atomic per-unit commits

Every Phase, Plan, Task, Todo and Backlog-move maps to exactly one git commit — `np:undo` and `np:undo-task` are mechanical reverts.

Multi-runtime

One source tree, one install payload, fourteen host CLIs. Workflows and agents are portable Markdown — runtime-specific glue lives in adapters.
